Christening Cake

I was asked by my childhood friend if I would like to make a cake for her daughter's christening. Of course I said YES! I wanted to experiment with the fondant a bit more than I have in the past in making 3D dimensions.

Everything on the cake is edible - including the shoes and the shoe laces, which is something I always go for.
